Replica 1937 Harley Davidson Knucklehead frame is an authentic reproduction of the factory style frame.
Tool box pads are rectangular shape and positioned to mount rectangular tool box. Forged parts include neck, front and rear engine mounts, side car mount loops, top seat yoke, footboard tabs, and rear axle plates.
The 28° neck angle will accept inline spring forks.
Seat post and mechanical brake cross shaft bushings, correct tool box mount, and grease fittings are installed.
Frame will house a Knucklehead or Flathead engine and a 3 or 4-speed transmission. In lieu of a serial number, a Manufacturer's Statement of Origin is available upon request.
Frame includes seat post, brake cross shaft, rear axle assembly, transmission plate and a motor alignment plate for safer shipping.
Features original DIF forging marks on the left side of the neck.
Seat post, brake cross shaft, rear axle assembly, and transmission plate are pre-installed.
Note: Horizontal frame cross bar features 7/8" outer diameter tubing.
NOTE: On rear axle plates, for original look rear brake slot on left side must be cut out at the front. We have left this "closed" for the builder to remove if desired.
*NOTE: Seat post and cross shaft bushings may require further reaming for proper fit. For this reason frames will not be accepted for return (RGA).
In some instances it may be necessary to ream or file holes slightly in order to assemble parts onto the frame.
